Theater Camp provides a hilarious, but heartfelt look into the world of theater. The film has a self-aware take on youth (and adults alike) in the performing arts. It’s especially refreshing in how it depicts characters who are unapologetically Queer, with one of the funniest scenes of the film featuring a camper “coming out” but for a surprising (and comedic) reason. While ex-theater performers and crew will probably enjoy this film the most, there’s still something for everyone to laugh along with.
